IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (15094) Polymele / TYC 2448-00692-1 event on 2023 Jan 11, 22:18 UT Visible from India, SW Asia, N Africa Summary ------- On 2023 Jan 11 UT, the 21.2 km diameter asteroid (15094) Polymele will occult a 11.0 mag star in the constellation Auriga for observers along a path across India, SW Asia, N Africa. In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 7.53 mag to 18.50 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 1.330 seconds. This update is based on.
