IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (20848) 2000 UA105 / TYC 6204-00216-1 event on 2024 Feb 05, 09:27 UT Visible from Summary ------- On 2024 Feb 05 UT, the 9.28225269582058 km diameter asteroid (20848) 2000 UA105 will occult a 10.2 mag star in the constellation Scorpius for observers along a path across . In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 8.27 mag to 18.45 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 0.310 seconds. This update is based on, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU Minor Planet Center.
