Summary
-------
On 2024 Oct 05 UT, the 10.339 km diameter asteroid (1120) Cannonia will occult 
a 11.9 mag star in the constellation Taurus for observers along a path across .

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star 
will drop by  3.57 mag to 15.44 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 
1.050 seconds.

This update is based on, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU 
Minor Planet Center.
