Summary
-------
On 2024 Oct 12 UT, the 20.3497948117907 km diameter asteroid (1378) Leonce will 
occult a 11.3 mag star in the constellation Ophiuchus for observers along a 
path across .

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star 
will drop by  5.59 mag to 16.92 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 
0.500 seconds.

This update is based on, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU 
Minor Planet Center.
