IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for

Summary
-------
On 2024 Oct 24 UT, the 19.446 km diameter asteroid (16194) Roderick will occult 
a 12.0 mag star in the constellation Serpens for observers along a path across .

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star 
will drop by  6.90 mag to 18.88 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 
0.630 seconds.

This update is based on, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU 
Minor Planet Center.
