Summary
-------
On 2024 Oct 31 UT, the 21.5203529680752 km diameter asteroid (16029) 1999 DQ6 
will occult a 8.9 mag star in the constellation Taurus for observers along a 
path across .

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star 
will drop by  8.33 mag to 17.23 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 
1.580 seconds.

This update is based on, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU 
Minor Planet Center.
